In addition to weekly psychotherapy, I offer focused and intensive therapy for women who want to work more deeply with a specific emotional pattern, relationship wound, trauma response or life transition.
These intensives are grounded in feminist depth psychotherapy and informed by Depth-Oriented Brief Therapy. This means we do not treat your symptoms or patterns as weakness, overreaction or personal failure. We look at what they may have been protecting, how they developed, and why they may still feel necessary at a deeper emotional or body level.
A feminist lens matters because women’s distress does not happen in isolation. It is shaped by relationships, family history, culture, power, gendered expectations, motherhood, ageing, body experience and the roles women are often expected to carry.
Where clinically appropriate, I may also use the Rewind Technique to help reduce the emotional charge attached to specific traumatic memories, phobias or triggers.
We begin with a brief consultation and pre-intensive questionnaire to make sure this format is suitable for you.
Together, we agree one clear focus for the intensive. This might be a relationship pattern, narcissistic abuse recovery, trauma response, shame, anxiety, emotional shutdown, people-pleasing, divorce, midlife change, menopause transition or a pattern you understand logically but cannot seem to shift emotionally.
The work is active, focused and carefully paced. The aim is not to force a breakthrough, but to create enough time and safety to understand the deeper emotional pattern and begin working with it in a meaningful way.
You will receive preparation guidance before the intensive and a short integration summary afterwards.
This may suit women who feel stuck in a specific emotional pattern and want focused therapeutic depth rather than open-ended weekly therapy.
It may be helpful if you have already done therapy and have insight, but still feel something has not shifted at a deeper emotional, relational or body level.
This is for women who want meaningful therapeutic work — not quick-fix coaching, generic advice or surface-level mindset work.
Adults only, 21+.
The final structure is agreed after assessment.
A focused 3-hour session for one clearly defined issue, pattern or recent emotional rupture.
A 6-hour intensive, with breaks and integration time built in.
This can be held as one full day or split into two 3-hour sessions, depending on what feels clinically appropriate and manageable.
All intensives include preparation, therapeutic planning and post-intensive integration.
Where appropriate, I may include the Rewind Technique as part of your therapeutic plan.
Rewind is a gentle, non-intrusive method that can help reduce the emotional charge attached to specific traumatic memories, phobias, intrusive images or triggers.
You do not have to repeatedly describe the details of what happened. We work at your pace, with you in control.
Rewind may be used within an intensive where a specific traumatic memory or conditioned fear response is central to the work. In other cases, depth-oriented psychotherapy remains the main approach.

The Rewind Technique: a powerful detraumatisation method that works
Offered when clinically appropriate as part of an integrative plan. Adults (21+) only.
Intensive therapy is not suitable for everyone and is not designed for crisis work.
Before starting, we consider your current stability, support system, trauma history and whether this is the right time for focused depth work.
Fees reflect the extended clinical time, preparation, bespoke planning and post-intensive integration support.
Pricing varies depending on format and whether the intensive is held online or in person in Singapore.
