I grew up in Glasgow, a city that doesn’t care who you are or where you came from. Humour is our antidote to pain, honesty is non-negotiable, and we’re resilient. Those values sit at the heart of my work as a psychotherapist: warm, human and steady, without sugar-coating or theatrics.
For over two decades I’ve supported women through the chapters that change us: pregnancy and early motherhood; midlife and menopause; heartbreak, divorce and starting again; career shifts; relocation and identity questions. My approach is person-centred and my focus now is clear: relationship trauma and narcissistic abuse, childhood trauma and narcissistic parents, identity change in midlife, ADHD in adult women, and couples therapy where it’s clinically appropriate.
I offer a calm, confidential space where we tell the truth and take things at a pace your nervous system can handle. Real change doesn’t come from pretending; it comes when you can bring your whole self—body, mind and history—into the room.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. I use:
I’m direct when it helps and gentle when it matters. We’ll work collaboratively—no quick fixes, no performance—just steady, evidence-based therapy that respects your pace and strengthens self-trust.
Sessions available in Singapore and online worldwide.
I’ve written 10+ best-selling books on women’s health, yoga and life transitions: Practical guides that meet you where you are. Highlights include Birth ROCKS, a calm, evidence-informed approach to pregnancy and birth; and YogaPause, my positive ageing method for perimenopause and beyond.
